Feeling the "Hunger" to be fed

For me, the Hunger came from actual hunger last year, with having so many mouths to feed at the time on only one income.  I'm sure many people know the feeling, after all the monthly expenses are paid, there is nothing leftover for food.

I swallowed my pride and called our food bank chapter.  I was given many phone numbers to call. Leaving several messages and no return calls I was getting quite discouraged.Thinking if no one calls, what will I do? I have grandchildren here that must have nourishment. I kept plugging along, making calls.

One Sunday afternoon my phone rang. It was a woman named Linda.  She was heading a food bank just up the road from me. She asked me to meet her on Monday.  Glory Be! He was answering my prayer!

I met with Linda on Monday afternoon.  Well, Linda turned out to be "Pastor" Linda, thinking how ironic is this?  I had been hoping to meet someone that could tell me of a church to start attending!
Now, here I was standing in her church and also receiving the help that I had been seeking.

He does answer our prayers, we must learn NOT to give up hope!  I now have a place to worship with a wonderful Pastor who is fastly becoming a friend and I do help with the food bank when they need assistance!

So...this is my story on feeling the hunger to be fed, not only food wise but spiritually as well~ I have other reasons as well, but that is another day!
